Suede Moto

Hello, Everyone!!!!.

As I mentioned before, I had my eyes on the suede cobalt blue moto jacket from the Who What Wear for Target collection. At first I went  on my desperate search online to find it but to no avail. However it must've been fate because I found it at my local Target store and as luck would have it was the last one, clearly it was waiting for me!!!. The bright and bold color injects new life into a suede moto jacket. Recently I've been on a suede kick and I want everything in the luxurious material, I already have suede culottes, leggings and a dress. This jacket is awesome it is a style step above the traditional camel moto jacket. I wore a white shirtdress as a top with a pair of high waisted trousers and black booties. I will be wearing this jacket until spring for sure.

How to Wear a Floppy Hat in December

Hello Everyone !!!. I am happy to announce that I am able to take my pictures on my own with my new trusty  tripod!!!. I am so ecstatic it couldn't come at a better time for me, now I can post more of my daily outfits at the mercy of mother nature of course.

I brought my tripod from Amazon online, this particular tripod is apart of the new Amazon basics line. It is the perfect tripod for those who are beginning in photography or in my case blogging because it is lightweight and easy to use. The tripod comes with a bag to help you carry around and it can be extended up to 60". The next item on my Christmas wish list will be a Canon EOS Rebel SL1 to step up my photography on my blog which will fulfill my blogging dream.

At the end of every weekend I pick out my outfits for the following week depending of the predicted forecast. However as a New Yorker, I know how unpredictable the weather can be from day to day
so you can only imagine my excitement when I was able to wear the outfit I originally planned for today.

I must admit I wear something from Target almost everyday and today was no expectation.  I seriously shop or should I say stalk the website constantly. I brought this dress last summer on extreme sale for at less than $20. Initially I saw this dress in black with white sleeves featured on
Ashleigh Hutchison from the fashion blog " The Daileigh" (seen here). She wore her dress with the trendy Gucci ankle strap sandals which makes it appropriate for the hotter months.

I started today's look with this dress from Mossimo for Target. It is the perfect shift dress for my pear shape. The cobalt blue sleeves bring the eyes up to my upper body with less focus on my bottom half. It has a simple silhouette but it features an exposed gold zipper in the back.

I winterized my dress by pairing it with my black faux fur vest from Banana Republic and my moto- leather jacket. It was cooler when I left for school earlier so I added black tights, booties and my go-to floppy hat to keep me warm.

Unlike Ashleigh, my dress features cobalt blue sleeves instead of  white sleeves which makes it the perfect little black dress with a pop of color. It adds a cute twist to the traditional little black dress. Every women needs a little black dress in her wardrobe.

After a day of creating new memories with my best friend and her family (also known as my second family), my belly was full of good food and lots of laughter. I am thankful for having such great people in my life and I love spending times with those i care about the most. Sporty Chic

Happy Weekend!!!

I hope you are having an amazing start to your weekend. Comfort was key for me yesterday. I had important midterms to take and I needed to work my learning muscle and not so much my fashion muscle so I choose the most casual piece in any women's closet, joggers formerly known as sweatpants.

Joggers are not only reserved for the gym anymore they can be easily dressed down or up. These leather joggers add sophication to a otherwise casual piece. It's no brainer that I paired the joggers with my Peter Pilotto sweatshirt that was released at Target last year. I love a good collaboration with one of my favorite stores of all time.
I still owned pieces from earlier collaborations with Target such as Libertine, Erin Fetherson, Proenzer Schouler, Patrick Robinson and Behnaz Sarafpour to name a few. These leather quilted slip-on sneakers are inspired by a pair by Steve Madden for half the price. In the words of June Ambrose "Fur adds immediate glamour, even when wore casually" I couldn't agree more. I finished the look with my new favorite moto-leather jacket and black faux fur collar.

The Bare Minimum

Hello!!. Today I went for the most simplest outfit by choosing a plain white t-shirt and black leggings as the foundation of my outfit. When I leave my house in the morning it is normally the coldest time of the day, so I layered underneath my moto leather jacket an open long cardigan to keep me warm and cover my bottom-half. I accessorized with an statement necklace from Forever 21 I brought years ago and over the knee boots I brought from Daffy's before they went out of business.  I topped off the look with my favorite floppy hat that I literally wore all week in different ways (seen HERE on instagram).
Here is a recreation of today's outfit brought to you by Polvore.
