Black Leather Jacket + Grey Sweater Dress

Hello, Everyone!!!.

I am to reassure you that you can dress comfortably without sacrificing your style when rocking a sweater dress. It is a closet staple for Fall because of its functionality to keep you warm but stylish. I paired my sweater dress with my favorite leather jacket to edge the look up. With the cooler temperatures among us, most women are looking for the latest boot trends to rebuild their boot wardrobe. However if you can't commit to skin-tight over the knee boots  just yet, a chunky block heel is your best bet. I accessorized my outfit with a huge floppy hat and another fall staple, the chunky block heel bootie.

Sweater Dressing

Hello, Everyone!!!.
After a full week off from school, I finally decided to go out this weekend to celebrate the end of the semester. It was quite warm on Sunday night so I decided to wear a fitted Winter sweater dress. I started the look off with this black and grey dress that I brought from Banana Republic a few years ago. When I initially brought this dress I had to wear shapewear underneath it to conceal my middle section and smooth out my shape.
However after my weight lost, I am happy to say that I no longer have to wear shapewear underneath this particular dress.
That is a mini accomplishment for me!!!!.

Although I am not wearing any spanx underneath I decided to achieve the same look by cinching in my waist with a corset belt. The right belt can instantly change your outfit, so I choose this wide black belt with patent leather trim and double buckles to add some glamour to my dress.

During the colder months, you can easily get in a style rut because you typically wear more pants than dresses or skirts but I actually enjoy wearing dresses with a fun funky pair of tights.

In the Wintertime, you can have fun with your hosiery to compliment your dress. Instead of wearing simple opaque or sheer tights  I choose a pair that have a slight horizontal pattern.

I definitely will be wearing this dress all Winter long in different ways by simply swapping out the tights and/or belt and changing the boots.

Here are some great tights options for your Winter wardrobe for under $35.

How to Wear a Floppy Hat in December

Hello Everyone !!!. I am happy to announce that I am able to take my pictures on my own with my new trusty  tripod!!!. I am so ecstatic it couldn't come at a better time for me, now I can post more of my daily outfits at the mercy of mother nature of course.

I brought my tripod from Amazon online, this particular tripod is apart of the new Amazon basics line. It is the perfect tripod for those who are beginning in photography or in my case blogging because it is lightweight and easy to use. The tripod comes with a bag to help you carry around and it can be extended up to 60". The next item on my Christmas wish list will be a Canon EOS Rebel SL1 to step up my photography on my blog which will fulfill my blogging dream.

At the end of every weekend I pick out my outfits for the following week depending of the predicted forecast. However as a New Yorker, I know how unpredictable the weather can be from day to day
so you can only imagine my excitement when I was able to wear the outfit I originally planned for today.

I must admit I wear something from Target almost everyday and today was no expectation.  I seriously shop or should I say stalk the website constantly. I brought this dress last summer on extreme sale for at less than $20. Initially I saw this dress in black with white sleeves featured on
Ashleigh Hutchison from the fashion blog " The Daileigh" (seen here). She wore her dress with the trendy Gucci ankle strap sandals which makes it appropriate for the hotter months.

I started today's look with this dress from Mossimo for Target. It is the perfect shift dress for my pear shape. The cobalt blue sleeves bring the eyes up to my upper body with less focus on my bottom half. It has a simple silhouette but it features an exposed gold zipper in the back.

I winterized my dress by pairing it with my black faux fur vest from Banana Republic and my moto- leather jacket. It was cooler when I left for school earlier so I added black tights, booties and my go-to floppy hat to keep me warm.

Unlike Ashleigh, my dress features cobalt blue sleeves instead of  white sleeves which makes it the perfect little black dress with a pop of color. It adds a cute twist to the traditional little black dress. Every women needs a little black dress in her wardrobe.

Camel Love

Camel coats are a timeless piece that never goes out of style.
From a young girl, I always loved the allure of a classic wool coat that shows off a women's natural shape but maintains a ladylike appeal.

A little black dress is the perfect pairing for a camel coat.
I choose a simple long sleeved black dress  that I paired with my wedge sneakers to keep the look casual and comfortable. To add some glam, I choose a gold and black layered necklace that features charms.

The statement piece of the outfit is this fabulous mixed media coat by Bebe. It features an exposed zipper and leather sleeves with a wrap belt to cinch in the waist creating an hourglass effect.

Will you be wearing camel this season?..
