Oversized Sweater + Leather Skirt

Hello, Everyone!!!!.
Sorry I've neglected you, please forgive me. Last weekend we were hit by our first major blizzard and I spent the blizzard with my boyfriend and I've remained in cabin fever mode ever since. I promise I will be getting back to posting more outfits throughout the semester. However classes started this Friday so I quickly snapped back into reality.I thought I will start the school year off with a simple black and white look. I started the look off with an a-line leather skirt and oversized white sweater. I love the look of oversized tops and flouncy short skirts paired with over the knee boots it is perfect to wear in the Winter, all you have to do is wear tights and a hefty puffy coat. I accentuated my waist by belting the coat with a wide corset belt.

Suede Culottes

Hello, Everyone!!!!!

Over the weekend I was invited to my godbabies 1st birthday party which was a blast. Unfortunately the weather was not on my side, it is now feeling like January with our first snow flurries. However the upside I got to wear my new suede camel culottes that I brought for myself as a Christmas gift. Camel will remain an classic but luxe shade that can be paired well with any color but also looks defined when worn from head to toe. I try to combine several shades of camel to complete the look starting with suede platform boots that I've owned since high school. The platform boots are a few shades darker than the culottes which make them a perfect match. I've recently purchase a few matte liquid lipsticks from Colourpop that are dupes for the Kylie Lip Kit that I am loving right now. To break up the camel I topped off the look with a black leather contrast sleeve camel coat. Camel and black are the perfect color combination to wear for Winter.

Sweet but Sexy Turtleneck

Hello, Everyone!!!

I hope you had a great start to the New Year so far. I have some exciting news about a new job opportunity that I am praying comes true. Wish me luck!!!. Over the weekend this is what I wore for my celebratory date night with my boyfriend for getting the dream interview. I kept my look simple but sexy by pairing faux leather leggings with a sleeveless turtleneck sweater.  I belted the sleeveless turtleneck sweater with a thick corset belt to accentuate my waist but also break up the black by adding more texture. I topped the look off with a contrast leather sleeved coat which I layered a cowl over to keep me warm as the night became colder.

We Need A Style Resolution

Hello, Everyone !!!

We are officially in the New Year. Aren't you exicited for new experinces and accomplishing your new year resolutions like I am?. I know it is cliche but I plan on eating healthier and execrising more this year and I have no more excuses due to the fact my boyfriend brought me dumbbells and  running sneakers that I desperately needed because I only own fashion sneakers. On the other hand, my style resolutions for the New Year is to incorporate more colors into my winter outfits. In this first style post of the year I decided to incorporate both color and two different patterns in one outfit. I brought this wool plaid skirt from a thrift store over two years ago and I have yet to wear it until now.to  The key to wearing two patterns at once, it is best to find similar colors in the items you are trying to put together, in this case the color is yellow. I paired the skirt with a long sleeve yellow top which I accesorize with a skinny cognac belt over the skirt. Your eyes are not playing tricks on you I am not wearing any tights despite the cold but I quickly wrapped my plaid scarf around my neck to stay warm. I topped the look off with a classic double breasted trench coat.
