Combination of Colors

Hello, Everyone!!!

I really been on a suede kick this season, purchasing everything in sight in this camel suede. I believed I purchased these suede leggings around the same time I brought my suede culottes on clearance. Suede may seem like a cold weather material however it can be worn in spring if its faux suede because it is lighter in weight than it traditional counterparts. Brown suede is definitely an ode to the 70's and gives an instant boho vibe. But for a city-chic look I paired my brown suede leggings with a khaki blouse and a light trench coat. Then I accessorized with cognac belt, shoes and handbag.

The Sleeveless Trench

Hello, Everyone!!!.

Like every other blogger in the blogosphere I had my eye on this trench vest before the release date at Target. If you only knew the lengths I went thru to order this trench vest, you would say I have extreme dedication. When I initially searched for it online I was happy to find that it was still available but after reading the reviews many buyers suggested to go down a size or two. Unfortunately for me the only size available was a large so I took a chance and ordered it anyway. I had plans to get it tailored to me if it didn't fit well. After waiting for what seemed like an eternity I was hit with unexpected news that my order was canceled due to unavailability. Immediately I called a customer representative and he assured me to check back in a week or so. Luckily when I checked online again , a size medium was available so I ordered it without  any hesitation. I was jumping with joy when it fit perfectly. Today I paired the army trench vest with an all black look which included a bodysuit and stretchy work pants. I belted a wide belt over the bodysuit to emphasize my waist. It was colder in the morning so I accessorized with a faux fur collar and over the knee boots.

We Need A Style Resolution

Hello, Everyone !!!

We are officially in the New Year. Aren't you exicited for new experinces and accomplishing your new year resolutions like I am?. I know it is cliche but I plan on eating healthier and execrising more this year and I have no more excuses due to the fact my boyfriend brought me dumbbells and  running sneakers that I desperately needed because I only own fashion sneakers. On the other hand, my style resolutions for the New Year is to incorporate more colors into my winter outfits. In this first style post of the year I decided to incorporate both color and two different patterns in one outfit. I brought this wool plaid skirt from a thrift store over two years ago and I have yet to wear it until now.to  The key to wearing two patterns at once, it is best to find similar colors in the items you are trying to put together, in this case the color is yellow. I paired the skirt with a long sleeve yellow top which I accesorize with a skinny cognac belt over the skirt. Your eyes are not playing tricks on you I am not wearing any tights despite the cold but I quickly wrapped my plaid scarf around my neck to stay warm. I topped the look off with a classic double breasted trench coat.

Cranberry Dreaming

Hello, Everyone!!!.

If you stick to the Fall colors in nature, you will find the best combinations to incorporate into your daily outfits. Burgundy is one of my favorite colors to wear for Fall, it looks great paired with denim, camel or black. Leopard and burgundy are a fool-proof combination to wear together. Instead of wearing the usual blue denim, I opted for a pair of burgundy skinny pants. I paired the burgundy pants with a beige silk top. Leopard can be worn as any neutral because of the mixture of camel and black so I decided to wear leopard print pumps.

Goodbye October, Hello November

Hello, Everyone!!

It's better late than never, I know its the second week of November but here are a few looks from October that I loved the most. In the month of October, my looks consist of my favorite Fall essentials which included leather, a classic trench coat, dark lace and colorful plaid. To make my outfits appropriate for Fall I added leather jacket to my summer maxi skirts and dresses or leather joggers and leggings paired with a camel cape or a blazer. I only own two plaid items in my wardrobe including this scarf and I took full advantage of it functionality to keep me warm when I wear skirts with no tights. My floppy hats are also my favorite accessory to wear either with my trench cape or a lace maxi skirt for a instant boho look.
