All Wrapped Up

Hello, Everyone!!!

A wrap coat is a style that has been worn by every celebrity from Kim kardashian to other A -list stars and for good reason. It is a timeless  classic coat that is easy to wear but also gives comfort because it resembles a house robe you usually lounge around in at home on a lazy day. The oversized lapel and attached wrap belt will keep you warm and cozy but in style.
Over the weekend,  I wanted to add some sophistication to my casual weekend look by  draping a taupe oversized wrap coat over my shoulders for a slimming effect. Underneath the coat I layered a burgundy sweater over a longer top for the perfect crop top effect. I don't need a reason to add a fur vest to any look so I choose an off white vest to top it off. I decided to dress down the look by pairing it with  matching burgundy wedge sneakers.

Cranberry Dreaming

Hello, Everyone!!!.

If you stick to the Fall colors in nature, you will find the best combinations to incorporate into your daily outfits. Burgundy is one of my favorite colors to wear for Fall, it looks great paired with denim, camel or black. Leopard and burgundy are a fool-proof combination to wear together. Instead of wearing the usual blue denim, I opted for a pair of burgundy skinny pants. I paired the burgundy pants with a beige silk top. Leopard can be worn as any neutral because of the mixture of camel and black so I decided to wear leopard print pumps.

Marsala, Much?

Hello, Everyone,  I hope you having a good week so far.
This is what I wore to school yesterday. According to the Pantone Color Institute, Marsala is the color of the year. In the words of the Executive Director, Leatrice Eiseman "This hearty, yet stylish is universally appealing and translates easily to fashion, beauty, industrial design, home furnishings and interiors". It can easily be used in your home or your wardrobe, HOW GREAT IS THAT?.

Burgundy is the great color to wear monochromatic other than the traditional black or white. I dressed myself from the bottom to the top  starting with these pair of burgundy wedge sneakers. I paired the sneakers with colored jeans in the same color. These very frigid temperatures in NYC has made my faux fur vest a major fixture in my daily outfits. they add warmth under my Winter coats but also a stylish flair.

I decided to wear a pinkish beige under the faux fur vest and I topped it off a statement necklace. My marsala obsession did not end there I also decided to carry a marsala colored bag to hold all of my necessities for the day.

ALTUZARRA FOR TARGET REVIEW

I've been a long-time supporter of Target designer collaborations since the early releases of Proenza Schouler, Behnaz Sarafpour and countless others. You can only imagine my excitement when Altuzarra was announced to be the next collaboration for Target.
Weeks before the release of the collection, I checked the lookbook online to narrow down my favorites .I woke up early on Sunday morning to check out the highly anticipated collection when it was released on September 14th. I was excited that my store carried most of the collection and plenty of sizes were in stock. Here are a few of my favorites pieces from the collection.

Altuzarra Heaven, the entire line price ranges from $18.99- $99.99.

These over-the knee boots are a must have for fall for only $79.99

The ankle booties run true to size and a great price for $59.99

I've been looking for a faux fur jacket for a few seasons now. I think this is it. $69.99

You can't go wrong with a printed faux wrap dress. $44.99

I'm usually a size 8 or 10 but I opted to go up a size. However it did not flattered my shape like the others. $49.99

Fits true to size. Long and comfortable for Fall.$69.99

Runs smaller than the other dresses but looks great on. Just go up in size $39.99

Perfect for the upcoming holiday season. $39.99-$59.99

And last but not least this maxi beauty. It features sequin sleeves and swiss dot pattern throughtout. I accessorized it with the black faux croc belt from the line. $29.99-$79.99

Overall I loved the pieces, and I can't wait to incorporate them into my fall wardrobe.
