Simple and Chic with Hendrix

Hello, Everyone!!!. I know we've all had mornings where we didn't know what to wear. Although it was  beautiful yesterday I still found myself in the middle of my bedroom with a pile of clothes everywhere. Originally I planned on wearing this Jimi Hendrix T-shirt with a leather skirt, cropped blazer and slip-on sneakers. However once I tried on everything, the outfit I had in mind just did not work well together at all (insert sad emoji). I decided to swap out the leather skirt for ripped jeans and a little light bulb went off in my head. I paired the t-shirt and jeans with a white peplum blazer which I wore open. You can not go wrong with any pair of jeans with a t-shirt,  the two basics that every women have in her wardrobe. I was so excited to show off my pedicured toes I swapped out the slip- on sneakers for simple ankle strap sandals to dress the look up. I accessorized the look with a simple gold necklace that I wear almost everyday since receiving it as a special gift.

Triple Denim

Hello, Everyone!!!. If you haven't notice already I love a denim on denim outfit. In my opinion you can not go wrong with a cute Canadian tuxedo look Yesterday I paired my denim overalls with a sleeveless denim shirt but I didn't stop there. I tied my waist with a long sleeve denim shirt to recreate the perfect grunge from the 90's . It was the best era ever in my opinion, (the fashion, the music) ENOUGH SAID.

All Leather Everything

Hello Everyone!!! . I hope you are having a great start to your week.
I recently brought these R13 leather chap inspired jeans from H&M for a fraction of the designer price. They are the best of both worlds with the leather legs and black denim on top, two of my favorite things. They can easily be dressed up or down so yesterday I paired them with a simple tank and leather jacket. I accessorized with a gold pendant necklace and a bright red lip.

Pretty in Pink

Hello, Everyone !!. Yesterday was the first day back to school after a very short Spring break and I am not a happy camper so I decided to wear color to brighten up my day. This peplum top is from the Lana Del Rey collection for H&M released a few years ago.

I also own the matching pants that I have not dared to wear together yet but I'm looking forward to wearing it this Spring. I paired the top with high waisted ultra skinny jeans to balance out the exaggerated peplum.

Instead of wearing a blah coat, I decided to wear a pink coat which has become a trend over the last few seasons.

I kept my accessories neutral with nude flats , black purse and simple choker.

Let me remind you Rihanna wore an all pink outfit during her promotion tour for her movie Home and she pulled it off so Why can't I, right?.

That 70's Show

Hello, Everyone!!!. Here is a quick look at what I wore to school yesterday.
If you didn't know already, the 70's is making a huge comeback for the upcoming Spring season. I am jumping into this trend HEAD FIRST with these pair of wide- leg jeans.

Although trends come and go, classic pieces in your wardrobe will last you forever. I brought these jeans over 7 years ago and I refuse to get rid of them even when I could no longer fit into them because they compliment my shape so well. You can not go wrong with jeans that flatter your shape but also elongates your legs effortlessly.

I am dying to shred these winter layers and get my wardrobe SPRING ready. Yesterday I decided to wear a CUTE quilted grey flared skirt  because I wanted to take a break from wearing jeans or leggings. I paired the skirt with a printed sweatshirt and thigh high boots to keep my legs warm in the Spring-like breeze. I accessorized the sweatshirt with a collar necklace and two-strand chain necklace to achieve the perfect layering look.

Marsala, Much?

Hello, Everyone,  I hope you having a good week so far.
This is what I wore to school yesterday. According to the Pantone Color Institute, Marsala is the color of the year. In the words of the Executive Director, Leatrice Eiseman "This hearty, yet stylish is universally appealing and translates easily to fashion, beauty, industrial design, home furnishings and interiors". It can easily be used in your home or your wardrobe, HOW GREAT IS THAT?.

Burgundy is the great color to wear monochromatic other than the traditional black or white. I dressed myself from the bottom to the top  starting with these pair of burgundy wedge sneakers. I paired the sneakers with colored jeans in the same color. These very frigid temperatures in NYC has made my faux fur vest a major fixture in my daily outfits. they add warmth under my Winter coats but also a stylish flair.

I decided to wear a pinkish beige under the faux fur vest and I topped it off a statement necklace. My marsala obsession did not end there I also decided to carry a marsala colored bag to hold all of my necessities for the day.
