How to Wear a Graphic Sweatshirt

Hello, Everyone!!!!.

It is the end of the first week of October but you couldn't tell by the cold winter temperatures over the weekend.  If you were more like me and were expecting fall - like temperatures , you were highly disappointed when temperatures failed to reach mid 50's. I thought I was doing the right thing by wearing a graphic sweatshirt but it was quite cold and the drenching rain and wind did not help the situation. With such bad weather, I didn't hesitate to pair my sweatshirt with my favorite black high waisted skinny jeans to avoid looking soaking wet.  I may need to invest in some rain boots earlier than expected but until then I choose to wear my new pair of lace- up flats. They are a great fashion dupe for the shoe designer, Aquazzura that I mentioned in a previous post (seen HERE). I choose a leather jacket to layer over the sweatshirt for warmth and accessorized with a statement necklace and bangles to jazz the outfit up.

Fall Dressing

Hello, Everyone!!!.

If this dress doesn't look familiar to you, well it should. I wore it at the very beginning of summer (seen HERE) when the weather was picture perfect unlike the weather we are experiencing today in the tri-state area. I decided to wear a dress on the last hot and humid day of the season before it becomes inappropriate to wear sandals and expose my bare legs to the Fall chill. I made the dress fall- appropriate by layering with a boxy blazer that I found at the thrift store if you couldn't tell by the huge shoulder pads. I swapped out the platform wedges for lace up wedged sandals because it gives the illusion of a knee high boot. I accessorized with my faithful floppy hat and silver hoops instead of silver bangles.

T is for T-shirts

Hello, Everyone!!!.

Who doesn't love a good graphic tee especially on those days when you want to dress casually. Earlier in the week, I choose the ultimate model "off- duty" uniform which consist of the basics, t-shirt and jeans. You can wear the t-shirt and jeans combination for either work or play. It is a fool-proof outfit that will always work. I brought this Jimi Hendrix graphic t-shirt from Target they have a great selection of pop stars graphic t-shirts for women. To dress up the graphic t-shirt I paired it with a black blazer. A black blazer is an essential in every women wardrobe, they add the right amount of polish to any outfit especially your rolled up jeans. I jazzed up the look by adding caged sandals and large hoop earrings.
