Stripes and floral are a match made in heaven in my opinion.  I took a fashion cue from Jessica Alba when she wore a striped shirt from the collection with this pretty floral pencil skirt to the launch party for Who What Wear for Target a few months ago. However I did not have to purchase a new striped shirt because I already owned this white and blue striped shirt that match the floral in the skirt. I worn the skirt and top with the suede moto- jacket from the collection, but decided to tie it around my waist for a laidback casual look for school.

Seeing Stripes

 

 

Hello, Everyone!!!.

 

Yesterday was definitely a case of the Monday's blues, I found myself extremely tired because I was up the night before celebrating Mother's Day with my mom and boyfriend.  However the weather was pure perfection so I was able to wear an outfit I've planned a few weeks ago when the weather wasn't so nice which gave me an instant pick me up. If you haven't notice, this trench vest has become one of my favorite layering pieces in my wardrobe over the last month. I worn it previously at the beginning of the season by layering over black leggings and leather jacket. This time around I wore a versatile short sleeve stripe dress that I decided to layer under the Who What Wear for Target trench vest for a simple look.

The Little BW (Black & white) Dress

 

 

 

Hello, Everyone!!!.

 

I know we've all heard of the "LBD" also known as the little black dress, but let me introduce you to the little black and white dress. Stripes are one of my favorite prints because of its versatility. Stripes can be worn with solid colors or unexpected combinations such as floral or even leopard print. Last spring I wore this striped midi dress as a pencil skirt which I paired with a graphic sweatshirt (seen HERE ). I am a firm believer in getting the most out of the pieces in your wardrobe. I decided to wear the dress on its own with minimum accessories . I choose to accessorize with a silver choker style necklace and big round sunglasses.

Hello, Everyone!!. You can not go wrong with a sweatshirt in my opinion  I have a pinterst board dedicated to how to wear sportswear in everyday life such as baseball t-shirts, joggers and sweatshirts. You do not have to reserve your sporty pieces for only the gym they can be easily incorporated with your everyday pieces. It can be worn with skirts, joggers, jeans or leather shorts. Today I decided to wear this chic and cheap sweatshirt I found at H & M for less than $10, a serious steal!!.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 It is the perfect grey color that matches with almost everything from bold colors to bold prints. I wore the sweatshirt over a striped midi dress, it is the great way to wear your dresses in a different way.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I accessorized the look with a statement necklace and my favorite leather motorcycle jacket.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I've been eyeing the Celine Mini Luggage tote bag since the Summer collection of 2013. When I saw this Celine - inspired bag at Forever 21 I knew I had to have it.
