#29Rooms

Hello, Everyone!!!.

I hope you had a great weekend I know I did. .Over the weekend I saw the movie " The Visit" with my boyfriend and earlier in the day I dragged my mom with me to go to Refinery 29's 10th anniversary celebration in Brooklyn called 29 ROOMS which was open to the public during New York Fashion Week. When we arrived to the warehouse, we were told by security that the wait time was three hours and he wasn't lying. Honestly I was not expecting such a high crowd or wait time however in the age of social media that is to be expected. After about two and a half of hour waiting we were finally in, each group were given 29 minutes to view all 29 rooms. Here is look inside the 29ROOMS that we captured.

Basquiat

Hello, Everyone. Although I no longer live in Brooklyn, I am a true Brooklyn girl at heart. I would use any excuse to visit my favorite borough especially to attend a cool summer event.

\

Last weekend I was able to visit the Brooklyn Museum of Art to see the exhibit of an well known artist named Jean Michel Basquiat.

The exhibit featured rare unknown notebooks written by Basquiat himself filled with poetry and sketches. It was great to see inside of the mind of an art genius.

If you are ever in the New York City area, you should definitely check it out. It is well worth it, make a date!!.
 Thank me later...

A Night at the Museum

After days of going back and forth to school and non-stop studying. I realized I needed to do something fun. On Thursday night, me and my best friend attended the Everyday People dance party at the Brooklyn Museum in Crown Heights. I was able to see the Killer Heels exhibition as well. It was a night of good music and killer shoes.
I was truly in shoe heaven!!!.
