Cape Trench

Hello, Everyone!!!!

Cape season is officially here and I couldn't be more excited!!!. It is definitely a must-have for Fall, it is the perfect outerwear for the inconsistent temperatures in the Fall. Capes are perfect for Fall because you can layer how many items you need for the day. I love that you can throw it over any outfit and instantly you look put together. I decided to layer a sheer printed top underneath my cape. Although the shirt is partially sheer, the material keeps you quite warm. I tied up the tails of the shirt to accentuate my waist. When you wear oversized outerwear, it is best to pair it with slim bottom silhouette so I choose a dark wash high waisted jeans. I accessorized with a brown fedora and a large tote. I got a great deals on these knee highs at a local thrift store which were less than $10. They are originally from Banana Republic but I never receive such a deal for their boots even when I worked there. I think it was fate that they found me!!!

Autumn Neutrals

Hello, Everyone!!!.

One of the best things about being a women is we are able to play with different styles everyday if we so choose. However you simply can not build a wardrobe around only trendy pieces, every women needs her personal basics. Every women needs at least one well fitted trench coat in my opinion. I have to admit I own four trench coats, from double breasted to this robe style that I am wearing below. As the temperatures begin to cool down in the morning the first thing that comes to mind to wear is a trench coat. The other day I paired the trench coat with high waisted cargo pants in khaki which is the perfect color for Autumn. I kept the outfit pretty neutral with the color biege and cognac accessories and shoes. I choose a beige tank top that I tucked into the cargo pants that I accessorzied with a cognac thin belt. I've mentioned in a recent post that camouflage print is a neutral this can be said about leopard print. I choose a leopard print handbag that matched perfectly with my cognac mules.

Goodbye September, Hello October

Hello, Everyone !!!

With the month of September ending only a week ago, I thought I'd share with you my favorite looks of the month. For the month of September, I wore my two favorite combinations, denim on denim or black with white. When I get ready in the morning, I gravitate towards items that are simple and understated but can be spruce up with key accessories. I try to take full advantage of all the items in my wardrobe. I don't mind repeating shoes and bags throughout the month. What I can I say I definitely play favorites when it come to them.
